  • Candidates must hold a government-recognized qualification. For graduation, a degree in any discipline (minimum 3 years) with at least 60% marks is required (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). For post-graduation, a degree in any discipline (minimum 2 years) with at least 55% marks is required, while pass marks are accepted for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR 17
  • Candidates must have a master’s degree in economics, econometrics, quantitative economics, mathematical economics, integrated economics, or finance with at least 55% marks (or 50% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized Indian or foreign university/institute.
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM 20
  • Candidates must have a master’s degree in statistics, mathematical statistics, mathematical economics, econometrics, statistics & informatics (IIT-Kharagpur), or applied statistics & informatics (IIT-Bombay) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university/institute.
